In the dual capacity as Chief Restructuring Officer and Financial Advisor, Force Ten Partners, LLC (“Force 10”) is pleased to announce the sale of the hospice and home health operations of Visiting Nurses of Inland Counties (“VNA”), a Debtor in possession under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. VNA’s assets and operations were acquired in tandem by two separate operators, Bristol Hospice (http://bristolhospice.com/), a multi-state Hospice provider with a growing presence on the West Coast, and HealthSure Management Services (http://vnahomehealthandhospice.com/), a provider operating throughout Southern California. Bristol is the successor to the Debtor’s Hospice care operations, and HealthSure is the successor to the Debtor’s home healthcare operations.
“We sought partners that will continue our high standards of patient care. Both Bristol and HealthSure are well-equipped and welcoming to VNA’s clinical staff and patients. The sales were deemed highest and best under Section 363 of the United States Bankruptcy Code for the benefit of VNA’s creditors,” said Adam Meislik, of Force 10 and Chief Restructuring Officer for VNA.
Aided by Andre Ulloa of American Healthcare Capital, the Debtor’s broker, and David Goodrich of Weiland Golden Goodrich LLP, the Debtor’s legal counsel, the transactions closed on August 6, 2020.
