Barbara supports the firm’s Healthcare practice.
Barbara has over thirty years of health care industry experience, spanning a wide range of financial and operational responsibilities. Barbara has held numerous leadership roles in hospital administration, physician contracting and practice management, value-based care and population health, Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP), home health and hospice, durable medical equipment, and acute rehabilitation.
Barbara has extensive experience in physician contracting, EMR transitions, as well as care coordination, and most recently served as Vice President of Population Health at Penn Medicine Princeton Health—one of six hospitals in the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Recently, she led the operational transition to a new $750 million campus, developed a successful Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and Clinically Integrated Network (CIN), expanded the primary care network in terms of both volume and secondary market penetration, and created a high performing Skilled Nursing Facility network as a means of improving quality and financial performance in value-based care. Barbara led the health system in transforming a community-based clinic into a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
Earlier in her career Barbara, led a durable medical equipment company, and served as Director of Nursing for Skilled Nursing, Acute Rehab, and Long-Term Care.
Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from Rider University.
